Ellerbeck Swallow who was foaled in 1980 has finally had to be destroyed. She just got too old and we found her in the field unable to get up without assistance I watched her over the next few days and it was clear that she had had enough so the deed was done and she is now buried up in corner field. Great horse and had a great life but she lives on in her foals and their youngsters.
